Visitation Services

The visitation service is free, and is professionally delivered by volunteers that have received relevant professional training and ongoing education to ensure they are competent, and that service quality is maintained.

Once a referral is received, the coordinator will contact the cancer patient and caregiver to understand their situation and arrange the most suitable visitation plan.

Each visit typically involves two volunteers. The visitation modes include home visits, hospital visits, and telephone support. The method, timing, frequency, and duration of visits are discussed and agreed upon between the patient, their caregivers and the volunteers.

The centre currently provides services in Cantonese and Mandarin.
