CanCare Centre offers a series of training courses and workshops to help people better understand patients' health, spiritual and emotional care, as well as the meaning of life. These are suitable for volunteers, relatives and friends of patients, and those interested in related services to participate.

Contents:

  • Explore patients’ physical, emotional, social and spiritual conditions
  • Provide training programs for caregivers and the bereaved
  • Understand the meaning of life, and face death and everyday life with a positive attitude

The courses utilise various teaching methods such as informative talks, movie clips, real-life cases, discussions, experiential exercises, storytelling, and other interactive formats to enhance participants’ learning and understanding. These courses have been well-received when conducted at seminaries, aged care homes, churches, and in the communities.  Churches, organisations, or individuals are welcome to inquire or register.
